I graduated from Western Kentucky University with my Masters degree in Communication and Swallowing Sciences and Disorders. I have over 10 years experience working with elementary, middle and high school students in person, in addition to over 2 years working with these students in teletherapy.
I also served adults in skilled nursing facilities, with outpatient opportunities, since I graduated in 2008. I have experience in providing therapy for language disorders, articulation delays/disorders, fluency/stuttering disorders, basic communication skills with nonverbal or limited verbal students, cognition, aphasia, and Tourette’s/tic disorders.
I am certified in various picture communication programs and CBIT (Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics).
