About me

I received my B.F.A from Lesley University in Massachusetts and my M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from the City University of New York – Brooklyn College. I’ve provided services in public schools to children with a variety of speech-language difficulties, learning disabilities, social-pragmatic difficulties, stuttering, Autism Spectrum Disorder and traumatic brain injury. I have also worked at rehab facilities providing services for adults recovering from stroke, those diagnosed with Aphasia, dysphagia, traumatic brain injury and dementia.

I’ve been in private practice since 2014 aiming to deliver the best quality care to families who’s loved ones needed speech therapy. I found that so many kids and adults fall through the cracks of the system (whether in the school district or through insurance) or limit their therapy due to cost,  and then don’t get good care. There had to be a better way.

I’m a single mom with 2 kids and want the best for them. I know that the families that come to us for speech therapy want the same.

I also know what it’s like to be a patient who needs the services of an expert, so I make sure that our therapists treat you and your loved one as a whole person not a diagnosis.

I founded Therapy Works Together so families would have access to a team of dedicated speech therapists who’s mission it is to provide exceptional care that’s also convenient and affordable.

The team at Therapy Works Together thanks you for choosing us and feels privileged to serve and improve the lives of our clients.

My son needed so much help with a speech delay and picky eating. We enrolled in parent coaching sessions online (no therapist near us!) and we saw him start talking within 2 meetings. The ideas she gave us were easy to use and he responded to them.

Michelle is a great speech therapist. She has worked with my two toddler children. They both enjoyed having sessions with her. She's also very friendly and professional. She'd offer me tips at the end of sessions and in emails, too. I highly recommend her as a speech therapist for your toddlers!

Michelle is excellent to work with! Very accommodating for busy schedules and I really appreciated the homework assignments she gave my son to work on during the week. I believe the assignments helped him.
